| Welcome to the Vickery Creek Media Center! I have the privilege of working with students, staff, and parents this year in our Media Center.
I grew up in Virginia and received my teaching degree from Roanoke College. I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, and have worked in Special Education.
I have lived in Georgia for over 30 years with my husband Jimmy. We have 2 children who are VCE alums. Our son is an University of North Georgia graduate and lives near us with his family. Our daughter is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and Valdosta State University and is currently working as a Speech Language Pathologist.
I love reading and more importantly, helping students to become life-long readers, learners, and leaders.
I also enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors.
I am looking forward to working with our school community this year!
