| Welcome to the Vickery Creek Media Center! I have the privilege of working with students, staff, and parents this year in our Media Center. This will be my 6th year in our media center.
I grew up in Virginia and received my teaching degree from Roanoke College. I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, and have worked in Special Education.
I have lived in Georgia for 30 years with my husband Jimmy. We have 2 children who are VCE alums. Our son is an University of North Georgia graduate and lives near us with his wife, our first grandson, and two grand pups. Our daughter is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and Valdosta State University and is currently working as a Speech Language Pathologist.
I love reading and more importantly, helping students to become life-long readers, learners, and leaders.
I also enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors.
I am looking forward to working with our school community this year!
