Problems with Classlink, Canvas, or Google? See below for solutions to the most common problems.

Can't log onto Classlink?

Often, it is because multiple students are using the same computer and are unable to log in. Because the computer stores login information, it is important to log off one user and clear the web browser history before attempting to log in to another student's Classlink account.  

Can't access your student's Google/Microsoft assignments?

Often, it is because students are unable to access due to Family/Parent Google/Microsoft Accounts. Students can only access work from their own FCS Google/Microsoft account.  Most likely, another user is logged in to a personal Google/Microsoft account, and it defaults to that account.  Please log off any non-FCS Google/Microsoft accounts before accessing Google/Microsoft.  

Google/Microsoft Example:
Step #1: Check which account the computer is logged into. If it does not
have a profile that ends in @forsythk12.org. You will need to sign out.
Step #2: After you click “Sign Out”. Click the button at the bottom that says “Add Person”. Looks like the image below.
Step #3: After you click “Add Person”, you are going to want to add using an email if prompted (student number@forsythk12.org).
 

Can't Access Classlink on a Personal Chromebook?  

Families who have set up personal Chromebooks with a "Family Account" are unable to access Classlink.  This is due to Google Family account settings; students will not be able to access Classlink.  To access their work on a personal Chromebook with a Family account, you will need to enter your password to turn off this feature, then have the student log in to their Chromebook with their FCS login information as a new user.
